Blainscough Nature Reserve

Stay and Play Meeting information

  • Please find above the map of Springfield road and Blainscough Nature Reserve.
  • We ask that you park along Springfield Road and if the football grounds car park is open they have kindly let us use the car parking facilities but with limited numbers, we ask you are considerate of the residents around the area when parking vehicles.
  •  I will be entering from the Blainscough road entrance PR7 5HD, we ask that you meet us at the Blainscough nature reserve sign.
  • No matter the weather we will still be continuing our sessions the only weather we would consider postponing are bad storms and high winds, so please ensure you all dress appropriately.

Stay and Play Croston Meeting information 

  • Please find above the map of Croston and Bishop Chester Wood (Croft Field) which is adjacent to Croston Old School and St Michael and All Angels Church. 
  • There is limited parking along the main road in Croston, alternatively if you come over the bridge and turn left there is some parking roadside along Carr Lane. From there you walk along the footpath over the river, towards the church, through the church grounds (to the right of the church) and through the gate and you will see Bishop Chester’s wood on your right with the play area on your left. For Sat nav please use PR26 9RE, which should take you to Carr Lane. You should go over the tiny cobbled bridge roughly opposite the Grape’s pub. (near Manor House Barn). 
  • No matter the weather we will still be continuing our sessions the only weather we would consider postponing are bad storms and high winds, so please ensure you all dress appropriately. 

Please note – there is no vehicular access down Church Street so please either park on the main road or on Carr Lane and walk to site.

Chisnall Meeting information 

  • Please find above the map of Chisnall Hall Nature Reserve. 
  • We ask that you park along main road near the entrance to Chisnall Nature reserve there are a number of road side spaces near the gate which you will be able to park. This is near the smaller circle linked to the path. However the circle higher up on the image is another spot you can park and walk through the woodlands. 
  • We will be entering from the Chisnall Hall Nature Reserve PR7 5FY off the A49 by the smaller circle linked to the path, this is near Coppull Moor Lane. We ask that you meet us in the woods in the larger circle following the path straight up to the larger circle.
